There are a number of things that could be contributing to this problem, such as nearby interference by another device, your SSID being hidden on your router or your router broadcasting a different frequency of the signal. Anyways, that's all too technical to get into here, but here's something you can try. On the back of your TCL TV, there should be a network port. Get yourself an Ethernet cable and plug one end into that port on the back of your TCL. Take the other end and plug it into one of the empty ports on the back of your router. Yes, I understand that it could be a rather lengthy cable, but you can always bring it back to the store after you're done. This hardwired connection should give you the ability to see where the problem might lie.
